As a native Houstonian, Alicia graduated from St. John’s School, Rice University, and The University of Texas Houston Medical School. She completed a residency in Anesthesiology at UT Houston, and has dedicated her entire career to the patients at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Always having had an interest in art, she began fostering this particular gift a little later in life. For more than a decade, Alicia has been creating art of many mediums: paintings, collages, photographs and simple sculptures.

“I want my art to tickle your heart and inspire you.”

With so much of her life devoted to caring for those with serious health issues, Alicia sees art as a joyous respite in everyday life. “If I can bring a smile to your face, or a warm wave over your heart, I have achieved my goal.”
